Hi! My name is Dmitry! I am from Russia, but it is true to say that the University of Exeter has become my second home! There are a lot of grounds saying this.
The main is my studies! I can say that I really like it a lot for several reasons. First of all is the people who are teaching us. They are always trying to meet all our expectations, all the questions are solved in 10 minutes maximum; feedback and professionalism surround us everywhere! The second one is the University, which is considered to be one of the best in the world for campus conditions. The third is the methods used to teach us. Our teachers want to listen to our critical opinion of the ideas instead of making us keep everything in our heads.
I do not have any communication barriers; I clearly understand our tutors. They are real English people: extremely polite, welcoming and good looking! All the opportunities are created to make us feel cheerful! =)
The campuses we are living in (Streatham campus) have all the opportunities for students, especially in the field of sport. I have become a member of the swimming society and doing kenpo karate as well. Our tutors strongly recommend us to carry out extra activities, because it forces us to have contact with native speakers. A lot of trips are organized, I have visited Cardiff and Bath already!
The thing I marvel the most is their attitude towards disabled persons. Everything is thought over in detail in order to provide them with equal opportunities.
I wish everyone could study at this wonderful place!
