Research and Learning
Newcastle University has an excellent reputation for its high quality teaching, and offers a range of award-winning learning and support services such as the Robinson Library and the Careers Service. Investing £200 million in your future

Sports Centre
Newcastle is also one of the leading universities in the UK for sport, with its Centre for Physical Recreation and Sports boasting around 60 team sports to choose from and a host of outstanding facilities.
Students' Union
There is also the Students' Union, the social centre of the University. There are many events happening each week, from live acoustic music evenings, quiz nights, karaoke and popular club nights. With over 120 student societies and the 60 sports club, there is truly something for everyone social interests, which is one of the reasons why Newcastle was recently voted the University with the best social life in a survey of more than 22,000 full-time undergraduate students from across the UK (Times Higher, 2007).
